From today, you won't find "Pro" in Maglr anymore. The way you design in what used to be the Pro editor is now called "freeform" mode, and your pages are "freeform pages". Rest assured, how it works hasn't changed.
We're working on "grid" mode, a new way to build pages that lives inside the same editor, right next to freeform. Read more about grid mode if you missed it.
Once grid arrives, the editor you know gets a second mode. You can stick to freeform, build in grid, or mix both on the same page. At that point, "Pro" stops being an accurate label for an editor that works in two ways.
The changes are all in the labels, for example.:
Your publications, features and workflow work exactly as they did yesterday. This is a new name for the same editor in preparation for a new mode to come.
We want everyone in your organization to have a role in the platform, working with the tools and settings they prefer. Hence, we changed our plan names to Advanced and Basic to better reflect the way you work with the platform.
If you've been saying "Pro" for years, no need to retrain yourself. We know what you mean. You'll also still hear "the Pro editor" in some Academy videos. When you do, just know that we’ll refer to it as “freeform” from here on out.
