New: Vector shapes & draw on canvas
As the final step of the new Sketch import-feature, we’re bringing a couple of new Vector elements to Maglr Pro.

Sketch import now in beta!
For designers who work with multiple tools, doing double work is nothing new: you create a design in one tool, to then use that same design in another. Especially with larger designs, it often takes a lot of time to manually export the separate elements to use them in different design tools.

Secure your account via 2FA or SSO
While it may seem like a strong password is a good way to protect your account, it’s getting easier and easier for hackers to crack your password. Especially when you use the same password for multiple services, major problems occur when your login details for one of these services are leaked. Luckily, more security methods have been appearing to keep this from happening.

New privacy friendly statistics
Google Analytics is becoming an issue for an increasing number of European countries. The way data is gathered and regulated in the Unites States conflicts with the European GDPR-legislation. Using Google Analytics as a European organisation isn’t completely forbidden yet. But looking at the increasing number of questions, it’s very clear for us: organisations are searching hard for a privacy friendly alternative. That’s why Maglr will soon be switching to a privacy- and cookie friendly statistics tool.

In development: A new Grid editor
Maglr is the content creation platform with which organisations, by using two different editors, design interactive stories to publish and share. The Block editor is a simple drag-and-drop variant based on templates, suitable for the marketer. The extensive Pro editor is a variant with which experienced designers have complete control over the design.

Now available: brand new Pro editor
We are proud to introduce the redesign of our Maglr Pro editor! Especially the valuable input and feedback from our users has made it possible to develop an improved version of our Pro editor. In this update, we will tell you about the most important changes we have made.

Introducing: Stack publications
Stack publications will bring a new dimension to the content experience of your audience. Compared to slide publications, this new publication type focuses more on vertical reading navigation to consume content. Stack publications are longreads with ‘layered’ in-depth pages that are visually stacked when opened. This article will help you decide why and when you need to create a stack publication for your audience.

Update: Teams & User rights
Bigger teams require structured workflows. That’s why we have made it easier to manage multiple users and teams in Maglr. With this update, we’ve improved the flow to invite new users, better manage their roles and the option to create teams* to have multiple users working with the Maglr platform.

Update: brand templates for projects and pages
Save valuable time with brand templates for projects and pages. Maglr has a variety of standard templates to start a project. Now it is also possible to prepare brand templates that are laid out in the company’s color style and fonts. Templates make it easier for account users to reuse individual pages or projects. This update helps multi-user businesses monitor the quality of what is created on the Maglr platform.

Update: download or synchronise Maglr projects to a local server
When an account wants to host Maglr content on their local server, there are two options. The first option is for accounts with an annual license to manually export the content to an HTML-zip file. This is a static download that can then be uploaded to their local server. The second option is for Enterprise accounts to automate this process with a direct (FTP/SFTP) synchronisation to a local server. In this update, we will tell you more about the reasons why users would host a Maglr publication on their local server.
