NBTC's research combines revamped approaches to previous studies on inbound tourism and day visits, offering a comprehensive view of visitors' choices before, during, and after their stay in the Netherlands. By integrating extensive data on various visitor types and accommodation forms from eleven key markets, it highlights the economic and socio-cultural impacts of tourism. Supported by provincial and national partners, the findings emphasize the importance of data-driven strategies for turning potential visitors into valuable guests, benefiting both tourism and local quality of life.
